Paul Johnson is often copied but has never have been equaled, because Paul Johnson is…well…he is PAUL JOHNSON.
There is reason for him to be named as the very first artist in the track “Teachers” by Daft Punk.
Paul Johnson was born and raised on the south side of Chicago, the birthplace of house music where he started DJing in the mid-80s and started producing in 1990. He produced and released over 445 E.P’s for some of the most consistent labels like Dance Mania, Cajual, Relief, Dusttraxx, Peacefrog and Moody Recordings which sold over 3.5 million copies of his 1999’s hit record ‘Get Get Down’ worldwide.

✨ LADYMONIX ✨
LadyMonix is a Baltimore-native producer and DJ based in Detroit, who’s known for turning out dance floors with her deep disco and house sets. She has performed at some of the sweatiest nightclubs in the country, from Pittsburgh’s Hot Mass and Brooklyn’s House of Yes to the darkest Detroit warehouse afterhours.
Production credentials include remixes of Preslav “Watch Your Step” (Love What You Feel) and Peter Croce’s “Revival” (Rocksteady Disco), as well as disco edits and original work on her own label, Frizner Electric, which she established in 2018. Her debut ep BC I WANT TO (released in June 2018) & sophomore ep TRACK 39 (release June 2019) have received international support from DJs on air (BBC, NTS, Redbull Radio, KCRW) and in clubs overseas including Josey Rebelle (London), Benji B (London), Ash Lauryn (Atlanta), and The Black Madonna (Chicago).
Currently, LadyMonix packs the dance floors in Detroit at two monthly parties, GRACE and Maybe Tonight, while finishing up her third release on Frizner Electric scheduled for fall 2019.
