- Limited Access 8 Is Organized By Parkingallery Projects In Collaboration With Aaran Art Gallery, Tamaas Foundation, Mooweex And New Media Society In Partnership With Tirafkan Foundation, Platform 3, Marcov Studio & Bidar Institute. Parkingallery Projects founded Limited Access festival in 2007. Parkingallery Projects was a small project space in Tehran which started an independent festival for video, sound, and performance. Since then, Limited Access has been featuring many prominent and emerging artists from Iran and across the world. In the field of sound, noise music spans over a wide range of ideas and concepts while there a handful of serious practitioners and many unexplored territories to discover. The rich philosophy behind as the term and the ambiguity of its border leaves the definition open for interpretation. The noise as a concept or an entity is an area seeking for in-depth research and a considerable amount of effort is needed to be dedicated to establishing a sonic dialog among its makers and creators across the fields. In this series of performances “Noise À Noise” aims to present some of its collaborating artists for the 8th edition of Limited Access Festival: the artists who are commonly from various backgrounds and possess different experiences to share.
