After a few years’ absence from our city, this veteran legend of the London and Berlin underground is back to check out our new venue for the first time.
John Osborn has over two decades of experience producing quality-drenched, deep, dark and raw electronic music that often escapes categorization. His sound can be dance floor-ready or a soundtrack to a wide range of dreams -what ties it all together is its attention to detail and the richness of its layers.
Our second venue by the river was also the site where Osborn met Nic Ford, our resident and one half of production duo MadderModes. That encounter led to MadderModes eventually releasing what can very well be described as one of their most scintillating EPs to date - the Box it Ken EP on Osborn’s DRED Records (if you haven’t heard it yet, you should). So this night will also be a kind of reunion party, and a showcase for what the DRED sound is all about (it’s serious).
Also on the bill are two local favorites - our own Anh Vy, who consistently brings something interesting and different to all of his many sets, wherever he’s placed, and parkING, a figure adept at keeping the party going with his infectious energy and intuitive, dance floor-energizing selections.
