3 years of Ordinary Friends! To celebrate, we are delighted to announce Dublin native Saoirse as our very special guest.
Saoirse has always featured on our radar but since collectively witnessing her set at Love International in 2018 we knew we had to get her down to the White Hotel. After several failed attempts we have finally got our wish and we’re super excited to see what she has in store for us on the 13th September.
Taking inspiration from her family’s involvement in the Dublin rave scene, dance music and record collecting has been in her blood from a young age. Having honed her DJ craft over the past decade her stock has quite rightly risen over the past few years, gaining plaudits for her energetic sets and infectious personality behind the decks. With some serious club scene experience and a mammoth record collection it was only a matter of time before Saoirse’s talents became more widely recognised.
As with many DJs, Saoirse has effortlessly made the transition from radio, where she has previously held down slots on RTE and Rinse FM. These stints on the airwaves have helped propel what is now a hectic international touring schedule with bookings at some of the biggest clubs alongside some of the scenes heavyweight DJs; see DC-10, Panorama Bar, Ricardo Villalobos, Seth Troxler and Peggy Gou.
Predominantly known for her work as a selector, that has brought brilliant guest mixes for the likes of Resident Advisor and Crack Magazine, Saoirse has recently been busy in the studio, and this summer saw her debut vinyl release as one half of 2 Pisceans on Midland’s Intergraded label. Over the course of three hours expect to be taken to the four corners of electronic music as her passion for club culture effortlessly transmits to the dancefloor.
