世界のアンダーグラウンド・シーンの中でも、個々に特異な境遇から表現活動を続けるDJたちがContactのNODEで交わる。Studio Xには、オランダはロッテルダムを拠点に、テクノ/ハウスからエレクトロやアシッドサウンド/EBMまでを内包しながら良質なリリースを続けるレーベル〈Pinkman〉と〈Charlois〉を主宰し、レコードストアも運営するMarsmanが初来日。レーベルオーナーならではのフレキシブルで予測不可能なスタイルを魅力に、ヨーロッパ各地でレーベルを率いてのクラブナイトや南北アメリカでのツアー、さらにラジオホストなど幅広い活動を精力的に続けたことで生まれた独自性が評価されている稀有なDJである。
ローカルからは、Future TerrorレジデントのHarukaや悪魔の沼のCompuma、待望のデビューアルバムを発表したYoshinori Hayashiといった、総合的に国内外での信頼と実績を積み上げるDJ陣に加え、Mari Sakurai、Aspara、Akey、FLATTOPのYellowuhulu、解体新書のRomy Mats、そして〈TRUSIK〉から最新EPを発表したBack To ChillレジデントのHELKTRAM等、DJやオーガナイズなどを通じて活動範囲を日本全国から国外まで拡げつつある気鋭のDJ陣が集結。晩夏の始めにして、何処よりも熱い結節点となるだろう。
「A gathering of prodigious DJs from various paths」
DJs in the forefront of the world’s underground scene come together for『NODE』at Contact. Marsman, the founder of Rotterdam-based labels/record shop〈Pinkman〉and〈Charlois〉known for high quality Electro/Acid sounds/EBM, makes his Japan debut. From showcasing label nights at clubs in Europe, touring all over the world, as well as hosting a radio show, Marsman has gained a solid reputation as a DJ/Label owner with his versatile and unpredictable style.
Trusted DJs, both domestically and overseas, from the local scene will be joining the lineup for the evening. Future Terror’s Haruka will be supporting the main act along with Back To Chill’s resident HELKTRAM, whose new EP from〈TRUSIK〉is due for release this month. Also sharing the decks in the main room are Mari Sakrai and Kaitaishinsho’s Romy Mats. Contact floor features Compuma from Akuma No Numa, Yoshinori Hayashi who has released his long-awaited debut album last year, Aspara, Akey, and FLATTOP’s Yellowuhuru. An intersection of very distinct individuals to heat things up for a late summer evening.
