Mad Racket ft. Annabelle Gaspar (Bad Dog) and Hugh B (OTIS Records – Live)
After a bit of a break and some basking in the glow of Sydney Harbour lights, we're back at the Bowlo with a couple of great guests. Returning best-on-field Annabelle Gaspar of Bad Dog infamy plus long-time Racket dancer, first-time Racket player Hugh B playing a live set.
Annabelle has been taking dancefloors across Sydney and beyond on trips to places unknown for many years. Part of the Bad Dog crew, who throw some of Sydney's greatest parties ever, she will be bringing some cross-bred rescue beats for us.
Hugh B has become an important member of the next wave of Sydney producers. Previously running a small record store Hugh now runs his own label of the same name, Outer Time Inner Space (OTIS), releasing his own and others' music. Focussed on deep house vibes and drum'n'bass influences, quality trumps quantity on these world-class releases. We're very much looking forward to Hugh bringing his live setup to Racket!
The Racketeers, Ken Cloud, Jimmi James, Zootie & Simon Caldwell, will be providing supporting beats and treats, amplified through our Bowl-O-Sonic system. Green-side smoking area, low-fi décor and visualised material, all provided.
