In the 1970’s, young people in the US gathered around roller-skating rinks to listen to the newest music.This summer, Strøm revives that tradition with the biggest roller disco at DGI-byen. The music will be served by Motor City Drum Ensemble - the German one-man-ensemble soundst simultaneously retro and futuristic and is the creator of some of the most-played clubtracks on the world's dancefloors - he will have the solid company of danish DJ Nixxon. Apart from the roller skating rink, there is also going to be a regular dancefloor - so everybody is welcome, roller-skates or not.

For the 13th consecutive year Copenhagen and Frederiksberg will be full of electronic music during Strøm Festival. Strøm Festival takes on a variety of urban spaces from dark nightclubs to open and public spaces, from monumental churches to moving transportation.
