- Sometimes it takes a while before you finally get the chance to seize your moment. DJ and producer Matt Masters has been working for Freerange Records for around 15 years, presenting their radio show as well as polishing Jimpster’s hi-hats, washing Manuel Tur’s MIDI files and ensuring that all Freerange releases adhere to EU regulations regarding deepness and houseness. His debut LP ‘Never Ending Nights’ is released on 11th October. Featuring eleven tracks of precisely engineered house and electronica, the LP is a high-quality, pristine project, as befitting someone who has worked for so long at one of house music’s most revered imprints. By way of an intimate preview / launch Matt will play the small but perfectly formed venue of Muxima in East London on Friday 6th September. ( A cafe by day, event and arts space by night). Joining him behind the decks , and flying in from Sydney will be good friend, label mate and musical ally Norm De Plume from sister label Delusions of Grandeur. Things will kick off around 9.30pm. It's free entry all night and will go on until the early hours. Not since their Wayward residency at Horse & Groom have Matt and Norm gone back to back all night. So don't miss this one off occasion as well as the exclusive previews of tracks from Matt's new album. The vinyl sampler will be available on the night and the LP will be available online a few weeks after the launch night. See you there! 9:30pm-late.
