Nicky Mao fuses layers of pulsating beats with dark electronics, cerebral themes and ambient passages. Her singular sound combines modular machines with emotive elements in ways that traverse between visceral and fragile
SAMUEL KERRIDGE [live]
Heavy pressure, chaotic interludes and high-octane decibels are hallmarks of Samuel Kerridge’s bracing sound. The Downwards artist returns for his first North American tour in years, and will no doubt push Good Room’s expansive sound-system to its limit with a wall of noisy textures and frenetic rhythms

INTERZONE is New York City’s new festival dedicated to wild electronic sounds, and is presented collaboratively by six enduring local curators: Confused House, Lost Soul Enterprises, Nothing Changes, Quo Vadis, Synthicide and Weird Science. The program traverses assorted mutations of techno, electro, industrial, wave, experimental and beyond; its aim is to connect the dots between a myriad of sonic experiences across Oct 17-20th while fostering a creative dialogue among artists and attendees
