- Juan Atkins and Underground Resistance (performing live) converge at XOYO. It doesn't get more Detroit than this.
- To round off six years of the XOYO residency series, we’ve collaborated with the Dutch collective, Dekmantel Soundsystem, who are responsible for putting the Netherlands’ vibrant dance music scene on the map through their hugely successful festival, cutting edge label and more. Through October to December, the duo have invited a wide selection of highly respected and rising DJs, as well as live electronic acts to XOYO for 12 weeks. This will be the first time bringing their winning formula to the UK, and in a club setting. For week 9, the godfather of Techno, Juan Atkins alongside the legendary Underground Resistance (who'll be playing live) will be joining the DSS duo for one of the more hard hitting nights of the residency. In the Green Room, Phillip Jondo will be showing his global perspective on club music, going from percussion-heavy slow jams to minimal wave and mutant disco, leftfield house and industrial. Zozo also joins on support whilst waving the Istanbul flag high. She reaches from sounds from her homeland as well as new wave, disco, synth pop, house and acid. You won't want to miss these sets. - Admission to XOYO is at management's discretion, advance tickets do not guarantee entry.
