- Estamos de volta mais uma vez para celebrar o fim da temporada de verão. Como sempre gostamos de inovar e trazemos mais dois nomes inéditos em Portugal e que andam a dar cartas por esse mundo fora. Já os seguimos há muito tempo e presumimos que mais uma vez iremos sair com um sorriso na cara. O espaço já conhecemos, o idílico Montes Claros-Lisbon Secret Spot em Monsanto, um maravilhoso jardim como pano de fundo. A primeira convidada é a israelita Magit Cacoon, parte da equipa e tour Diynamic liderada por Solomun, e que igualmente conta com varias edições na Crosstown Rebels de Damien Lazarus, fazendo parte activa da sua tour Get Lost . Estamos mesmo bastante contentes com a sua estreia em terras lusas. O segundo nome que já tivemos o prazer de ouvir várias vezes fora de Portugal são os maravilhosos KMLN (lê-se Kameleon), o casal italo canadiano com actual residencia em Berlin, que funde deep house, tribal, etno nomadic misturado com percussão ao vivo. Uma agenda mundial super preenchida, edições na Sol Selectas, Bar25, Crosstown Rebels, etc, com a fortissima capacidade e fazer magia na pista não irão deixar ninguem indiferente. Acreditem ... Venham cedo que acaba cedo (after party em local a anunciar) ++++++++++ Magit Cacoon (Crosstown Rebels/Get Lost) Israel Magit Cacoon from Tel Aviv, released music on Crosstown Rebels, Knee Deep In Sound, Rebellion, Be As One, Muna Musik, Katermukke, Upon.You Records, Girl Scout label founder. Magit Cacoon is what they might describe in America as a ‘triple threat’. DJ; producer; vocalist; her three identities feed into each other and blur into one synergised creative force. Embarking on the familiar techno pilgrimage to Berlin from her native Tel Aviv, she rapidly ascended the ranks of the city’s crowded scene before soon being catapulted into the global scene where she continues to be a unique, captivating fixture. Pushing a mystical, hypnotic, atmospheric blend of techno, her productions exude dashes of subtle melodies without the theatrics that surround today’s ‘melodic techno’ sounds. Always subtle, never overblown, it’s deep yet tough-edged. Her occasional mysterious, dramatic vocals are used sparingly and never fail to add a sprinkling of magic to her tracks. Releases on Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels and Rebellion imprints brought her name to a huge new audience following a slew of releases with her close Berlin friends Upon.You Records, while her stunning debut album Other Dimension garnered praise from the likes of DJ Mag, Faze and THUMP upon its release in 2015. Her spellbinding DJ sets reach further still from her production identity, blending elements of house and a variety of techno flavours into one captivating concoction. Her busy, high-profile tour diary is testament to her quality behind the decks, with previous appearances for Circoloco at DC-10, for Lost In A Moment in her home country, on multiple Crosstown Rebels tour dates as far afield as Miami Music Week, all across Europe and in Australia. Now part of Solomun’s Diynamic family, she is playing as part of the label / party crew everywhere from Watergate to their prestigious festivals in Amsterdam and Istanbul and their huge off-Sonar event and played alongside the label boss himself at a very special Israel Independence Day party. Electronic Groove picked her set from Crosstown Rebels’ Get Lost Miami party in 2018 as one of their Top 3 favourites of the entire Miami Music Week, while the likes of Deep House Amsterdam and Ibiza Sonica have hosted mixes from her. Her relationship with Crosstown Rebels will continue to be a key part of her work, with an upcoming remix for Damian Lazarus himself and a follow-up for her Subterranean Fiction EP on Rebellion as well as more appearances behind the decks with him too. With support for her music from other legends of the scene including Dixon, Sven Vaeth and Carl Cox, it’s no surprise that she is becoming one of the most in-demand names in techno and beyond. KMLN(Sol Selectas, Bar25) Italia/Canada The international shapeshifting duo, KMLN (pronounced “Kameleon”) unites Italian producer/multi-instrumentalist Christopher Tooker and Canadian /producer Shawna Hofmann. In the Burning Man of 8 years gone by, a story of two wanderers with a history for cross-pollinating the sounds of yesterday with the sounds of tomorrow found their moment. With a shared taste in gourmet percussion, deep and rare rhythms, and cosmic culture, what resulted was KMLN — one of the most time-bending and pulsating acts currently circulating the global deep-eclectic house dance movement. Find them singing, playing live bass, percussion, looping or guest musicians, you never know what to expect, every show is different. As interplanetary travelers and cultural explorers, the KMLN ship bends reality through sound, moving through tempos with layers and layers of mind altering colors. Their shows have been experienced at some of the most respected festivals including The BPM Festival, Miami Music Week, Amsterdam Dance Event, Lightning in a Bottle, Global Eclipse, Art With Me, Summit Series, Air Festival, Art Basel, Symbiosis Gathering, Shambhala, Wonderfruit, The Gardens Of Babylon, Subsonic, Meadows in the Mountains and legendary Burning Man art cars such as Robot Heart and Mayan Warrior. Venues worth mentioning are Watergate, The Brooklyn Mirage, Flash Club, Klein, The Grand Factory, Scorpios, Woomoon, Papaya Playa, Do Not Sit on the Furniture, Monarch, Public Works, Katerblau, Open Studios and Sisyphos.
