Daniel Mnookin-
Currently one of Ameica’s hottest rising DJs, Daniel Mnookin’s (pronounced “Muh-new-kin”) passion for dance music was inspired by an early encounter with London’s thriving undergound music scene. Though he had already developed an interest in various music genres, it wasn’t until his visit abroad that he really began to listen to DJs and appreciate what they were doing.
Upon his return to the states Daniel developed a live act (which would lead to original music production) and purchased his initial DJ equipment. After building a soild reputation locally, Daniel’s music would lead him to DJ appearances in major cities throughout North America & Europe and has been featured among top artists like Adam Beyer, Danny Howells, DJ Garth, Green Velvet, John Tejada, Matthew Dear, and Sasha.
Never satisfied, Daniel has joined with renowned techno producer Billy Dalessandro & Brian Ffar to form Siteholder Records (www.siteholder.net); a Chicago based techno label. Hearlded by the world’s top artists, its releases can be found in sets by Adam Beyer, Laurent Garnier, Sven Vath, Marco Carola and countless others.
