His performances and recordings incorporate rhythmic loops from eight-track tapes, vocal improvisations, found sounds, and field recordings. He uses contact microphones in order to generate harsh, feedback-laced noises, sometimes placing microphones inside his mouth in order to create bizarre, ogre-like distorted voices. Though he channels some dark, violent energies into his sonic constructions, there's also a crucial element of playful, absurdist humor to his work, making his performances confusing yet highly enjoyable spectacles of Dadaist performance art. While Dilloway is perhaps best known for his involvement with Michigan noise group Wolf Eyes, he's had an extensive solo career, issuing hundreds of recordings (usually limited cassettes) under his own name as well as Spine Scavenger. In addition, he's also collaborated and issued split releases with other well-known noise and experimental artists such as Kevin Drumm, Prurient, John Wiese, and many others. Dilloway is also the owner of Hanson Records, a long-running experimental music label as well as a brick-and-mortar record store and mail-order service based in Oberlin, Ohio. https://aarondilloway.bandcamp.com/ Eric Bauer & Carina Khorkhordina Carina Khorkhordina on trumpet and Eric Bauer on electronics/electric guitar are both autodidact musicians active in the field of improvised music. The duo started in early 2018 in Berlin and is exploring an extensive variety of possibilities, from transparency of small sounds and microscopic changes/disturbing silences to loudness and density, pushing each other into unknown territories and each time taking risks. The duo has a complementing/oppositional setup of Eric's wide range of instruments — analog modular synthesizer, sampler, objects, elements of percussion and strings, electric guitar and Carina's trumpet on the other side. They both incorporate ideas from other fields into their playing: Eric studied political sciences, sociology and some philosophy, active since over 10 years at various sonic fringes, and Carina is a visual artist working with photography. They have regularly collaborated with other musicians and artists and, aside from the duo activities, are playing together in such bands as Slurge (with Wolfgang Seidel on electronics and Burkhard Beins on electric bass), Textet (with Antti Virtaranta on electric bass and Samuel Hall on drums) and Model Infinity Through Listening and Action performing compositions by Andrew Lafkas. https://www.khorkhordina.org/bauer-khorkhordina/ Lucrecia Dalt (DJ-Set) Born in Pereira, Colombia in 1980, and now based in Berlin, Germany, LUCRECIA DALT has seen her profile as a musician, sound artist and performer develop into high international regard. Her recorded albums - numbering seven in total, since her 2005 debut - encompass the dual worlds of avant-garde and contemporary electronics, drawing in influences from her academic background as a civil engineer as well as musics and philosophies from across the world. Dalt’s most recent album - the acclaimed Anticlines, released May 2018 through New York’s RVNG Intl. - was created from synthesis, voice, vocoding and feedback among other musical techniques. It has been described as a marvelous exploration of mercurial ambient music. As a performer, Dalt illustrates philosophical metaphor about existence creating a complex, haunting narrative, embodying many artistic disciplines with the thought and contextual detail that goes into her work; deeply framed messages are tied together with abstract jagged music, rigid sound design and haunting, poetic vocals, to create a richly layered performance. It can at first feel a bit convoluted, but deep inside the music and beyond the lyrical narrative lies a profound piece of insular art. https://soundcloud.com/lucreciadalt/ _______________________________ Zutritt für Vereinsmitglieder
