"Combining musical perspectives over five years ago, Rusty Meeks, Juicy Jamey and Jared Andres created NOIR - a monthly party at Habitat Living Sound that features a unique combination of live sax + congas with electronic music. Emerging from the NOIR residence, the boys entered the studio and named the band BLVD NOIR. Closer in spirit to jazz, downtempo, dub and psych explorations than traditional club music, BLVD NOIR released the Ombres EP in March 2018. Continuing to forge a unique sound on their new EP "Mes Amis", BLVD NOIR have incorporated diverse influences, unusual production techniques, and new instruments including clarinet, tabla, various synths and pianos, guitars and live bass."
