"Version 1 of Buy Music Club went live late last year, and the response has been overwhelming. Since then, we've listened to your feedback and have been working behind the scenes to take the project to the next level. We're building a ton of new features and tools, with an eye toward expanding our simple list site into a fleshed-out online community. Still, our primary goal remains the same: Buy Music Club is a place to share our favorite music, and we want to make it as easy as possible for people to buy it, giving maximum profits to independent labels and artists.
That said, Buy Music Club doesn't make any money, and we could use a little help to get us over the hump for v2. To assist in covering our development and design costs, we're raising some dough the best way we know how: throwing a party.
We've teamed up with our Los Angeles friends Far Away, and have put together a special night that will 1) be super fun and 2) directly support Buy Music Club. As you might expect, Avalon Emerson herself will be on hand to DJ, but she'll also be joined by Nathan Micay, a big BMC supporter in his own right who's been having a monster 2019; if you haven't checked out his debut album 'Blue Spring' that dropped a few months back, you should definitely go listen to it immediately."
