NECTAR and Control would like to acknowledge that this event, and all of the work that we undertake as a collective, takes place on stolen land. We wish to acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land, the Gadigal people of the Eora nation and their Elders past, present, and emerging.

NECTAR and Control join hands for one special night to bring you a late night dance with two of Portugal’s finest with support from Sydney rising star, Cilla.
In 2017 Violet and Photonz came together to create the now infamous mina parties - a monthly, sex-positive, queer and intersectional-feminist techno party aimed at using the dissociative potential of intense raving to create a temporary space of suspension away from patriarchal expectations. Club music has always found fertile ground in the Portuguese capital, and in recent years mina have been creating more room and support for marginalised people both on and off the dancefloor.
mina was not their first project together however, founding the online radio station Radio Quântica a few years previous. Radio Quântica was their response to the global network of grassroots broadcasters like Berlin Community Radio, London's NTS, or The Lot Radio in New York. Since launching the station in 2013 they’ve found themselves at the center of an electronic music scene that's not only bigger but more diverse than ever before.
