On December 14, Lapsus will host ACT 3, its third event of 2019, entitled 'A Sonic Womb’.
As previously announced, Suzanne Ciani will perform live at the CCCB theatre in Barcelona. Ciani is a true innovator of the synthesizer and sound design and one of the most incredible creative minds of contemporary music. For her Lapsus concert, Ciani will perform an exclusive show accompanied by her modular Buchla 200e synthesizer, for a performance that will be take place inside a bespoke immersive sound environment designed by Intorno Labs.
Also performing at the CCCB Theatre will be Eva Geist, the pseudonym under which Italian artist Andrea Noce produces. Since 2016 Geist has deservedly garnered respect from her peers in the electronic music scene, releasing her most recent work on internationally renowned labels including Macadam Mambo, Hivern Discs and Elestial Sound. Enjoy her unique live performance; where prior to the concert, she will also work in collaboration with Intorno Labs to set up a bespoke sound design environment.

ACT 3 will open with a screening of the only digital copy in existence of 'Circle Of Light', thanks to the invaluable collaboration with Trunk Records. The 32-minute colour film, directed in 1972 by Anthony Roland, was developed from Pamela Bone's photographic material. The soundtrack still sounds amazing today and was jointly created by Delia Derbyshire and Elsa Stansfield.
Venerated American journalist Philip Sherburne will also interview Suzanne Ciani in a talk entitled 'Infinite Waves', where they will revisit her pioneering career and also talk about the role of the women in the international electronic music scene, from the 1970s to the present day.
