Just hit Colombia with Dj Akira & Raxyor for Hong Kong Violence Night in Bogota, playing PRSPCT Recordings Thrashbash in Rotterdam earlier this year, and Dominator the worlds largest Hardcore party.Occasionally hitting local gigs at home in Detroit, this guys mixing style is like none another, usually playing the most gangster of hardcore with his skills on the decks, and from time to time playing dark techno, or breaks. His knowledge of the global underground scene is vast, One of the founding fathers of the label's Triple G and Necronome Recordings... Iconian is making waves from the darkest depths of the Underground.

Hailing from the West Michigan area, Matthew Perrin (aka, Sylock, aka Matthew Scott) has had a passion for music ever since he was a child. Growing up in West Michigan he submerged himself in the early 90's with the budding sounds of hip hop and R&B culture. Teaching himself the fundamentals of studio techniques; as hip hop grew in the mid '90s, the scene itself began to shift perspectives, which navigated him down different avenues of melodic thought. It wasn't until the later months of '96 that Perrin aligned towards the sounds of house and techno, while also stumbling across the genres of jungle and drum and bass.
Matthew has been able to further the electronic music community in his hometown of Grand Rapids as well as the surrounding area, with cultivation now spanning decades. Things aren't slowing down for Matt either; along with the relaunch of the MODUL8 label in 2015, a new promotional entity known as DV8 has also emerged. DV8 is a platform designed by Grand Rapids hip hop and drum n bass artists with an emphasis on collaborative effort, spearheaded by Matt to further the mission of intelligent beat in his home town.
It is evident why Sylock is known throughout the area, with multiple shows and anticipated releases on the horizon, he sets his sights on the future, carrying with him his champion sound.

DJ Endurance has been a drum and bass enthusiast since the minute he heard it from trading tapes after shows. Soon after devouring all the music he could find he decided to take the plunge into DJing drum and bass music. Capable of mixing everything from jungle to hardcore to modern drum and bass, his sets showcase the hottest in old and new. Recently making a foray into production as well, he seeks to carve out a unique identity within drum and bass and move the ball forward for what the American rave scene means in the next decade.
