Italian hybrid drummer, producer, DJ and composer Tommaso Cappellato is a musical maverick ‐ running the gamut from free‐form beats to hip‐hop production and jazz improvisation. Mentored by jazz visionaries, Tommaso’s seemingly unorthodox breadth of style and vision gives us a truly unique new school artist.

From building his jazz chops as a resident drummer in NYC, to hip hop excursions alongside Brooklyn MC's and acclaimed jazz players; traveling to Senegal to meld with local world music masters, to leading his own award‐ winning spiritual jazz project Astral Travels; collaborating with experimental electronic, jazz and beats artists Mark de Clive-Lowe, Rabih Beaini, DJ Khalab (Tinashe the Wordsmith, Shabaka Hutchings, On the Corner), Nicola Conte and visionary Egyptian producer Maurice Louca to now presenting his latest solo artist project BUTTERFLYING + the soon to be released BONUS TRACKS on Mother Tongue, as well as his new track on Mark de Clive-Lowe's CHURCH SESSIONS (10.25) on Alpha Pup Records.

Todd Simon is a Trumpeter/Arranger/Producer/DJ/Educator who's worked with the likes of Kelis, Lauryn Hill, Weezer, TV On The Radio, Ziggy Marley, Madlib, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Lukas Graham, Santigold, Quantic, Breakestra, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Quadron, RHYE, Antibalas + many more. After co-founding Dakah, Connie Price & The Keystones, The Lions, The Decoders and The Angel City All-Star Brass Band, his personal project, the African - Jazz ensemble Ethio Cali (ethiocali.com), has taken LA by storm with their interpretations of Ethio-Jazz and Afrobeat. Todd is the composer for KCRW's Left, Right and Center and All The President's Lawyers. You can find Todd DJing and playing trumpet at the same time at his #HodgePodgeLA party that fuses live instruments with DJs. Todd’s mixtape project, Jazz On 45, is featured on OkayPlayer and Wax Poetics.
