Volt with Planetary Assault Systems (Live), Samuel Kerridge, Detect Audio & Polanski

  • RA PICK
  • Timeless techno and industrial on a mega soundsystem.
  • ✖︎ Planetary Assault Systems P.A.S. aka Luke Slater is one of techno’s most chameleonic enigmas - shifting through the variants of the genre and staying fresh throughout his expansive career of over 25 years. Releasing under his Planetary Assault Systems or L.B. Dub Corp projects for the likes of Ostgut Ton, Stroboscopic Artefacts and his own Mote-Evolver imprint in the last few years, Slater has channeled new energies with projects such as LSD, a collaboration between Dave Sumner (Function), Steve Bicknell and himself. For what’s beyond that with Luke, there’s not much time to rest - only time to create and innovate. ✖︎ Samuel Kerridge With his signature sonic arsenal, Kerridge stands alone in the worlds of rhythm and noise. A singular artist, his music is to be appreciated on its own terms. His productions are visceral slab of power, aiming to deconstruct any preconceived notions, his rhythms are scattered and his DJ sets are as diverse as they are eclectic. Whether experienced via his releases on Downwards records, Blueprint, Horizontal Ground, and his own imprint Contort, or live, the listener is subject to overwhelming waves of hyper-sensory stimulation. ✖︎ Detect Audio Detect Audio is the alias for Arnaud Le Texier & Antonio De Angelis project. Their production has been signed off by industry renowned Children Of Tomorrow and Syncrophone. For this special event they will play b2b with 4 CDJ’s and 2 mixers. Expect an energetic set with a proper raw techno. ✖︎ Polanski Best known in London for his innovative event series BLANC, a forward-thinking event series held at Electrowerkz for the past 5 years. His style is eclectic and indeed his DJ approach is sensitive to particular venues and club nights. With a recent appearance as remixer on Instrument of Discipline, Polanski aims to broaden his creative outputs by never settling in a comfortable, safe-zone. ✖︎ Burden Andrea Greco, artist name Burden, is an Italian born, London based DJ and producer. Over the years his sound has emerged as increasingly dark and industrial; energised with driving basslines, shadowy atmosphere, and hypnotic leads. … Volt is a safe space for everyone to enjoy.
