Refuge is a series of events supporting grassroots organisations. We are working in solidarity with refugees, women's emergency shelters, youth groups, and people experiencing homelessness.
Proceeds will be donated to Caring In Bristol.
Founded in 1987, Caring In Bristol works hard on creating a city empowered to solve homelessness. CIB are about working in imaginative and creative ways with people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness, and involving the community to bring about sustainable and permanent change in Bristol and beyond! CIB run the 365 shelter - an emergency shelter open every night of the year, 'Get to Know’, a community education project, and an early morning breakfast for people using emergency shelters called Caring at Breakfast’. CIB so run the South West's biggest Christmas project Caring at Christmas, sheltering over 60 people each night and feeding over 300 homeless and vulnerable people each day over Christmas. This year CIB have collaborated with Bristol chefs and restaurants to make sure those in crisis this Christmas experience the full hospitality of Bristol.
