For the last ten years, there’s been a sound emanating out of the Swedish forest hugging Norway’s borders. It’s a sound steeped in the future traditions of Techno and House with an esoteric approach to the dance floor, creating something organic from rigid machines through a community of artists. It’s the sound of Aniara Recordings and for the last ten years they’ve been a platform for some of Sweden’s most expressive electronic music artists, releasing music from Dorisburg, Porn Sword Tobacco, Arkajo, Henrik Bergqvist and, more recently, Birds ov Paradise and Sebastian Mullaert (Wa Wu We). Label head Fabian Bruhn brings Genius of Time to Jaeger’s basement to celebrate ten years of this enduring label with Frædag’s residents g-HA & Olanskii and Olefonken, hosting the event across Jaeger’s two floors.
