- Klankvorm hosts another exciting exhibition that brings spectacular audiovisual art throughout the city of Rotterdam. Expect to see optical phenomena, kinetic objects and A/V installations by nationally and internationally renowned artists. Frederique van Waning
- Lightforms is a new approach for Klankvorm to present projects at the intersection of light intervention and audio visual art in public space. The project consists of performances and a light and sound art exhibition. The mainly outdoors exhibition will consist of new commissioned audio visual experiments and works by national and international renowned artist. At V2_ the new kinetic video installation SVNSCRNS produced by Klankvorm will see its premiere. All the presented works revolve around optical phenomena, kinetic objects and site specific installations which will shed new light on the partaking locations of the project. LOCATIONS EXHIBITION: JAN. 23RD - FEB. 1ST @ LEUVEHAVEN & V2_ OPENING PERFORMANCES: THURSDAY 23RD OF JANUARY @ PLEIN 1940 The opening of Lightforms consists of audiovisual performances and takes place on the 23rd of January at 19:00 at Leuvehaven/Plein 1940. The program continues 21:00 at V2_ for a special performance program on the new SVNSCRNS installation. The exact timetable will follow. Lightforms is supported by Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie, Gemeente Rotterdam, Mondriaan Fonds and Stichting Bevordering van Volkskracht. Lightforms is co-hosted by International Film Festival Rotterdam - IFFR, V2_ and Maritiem Museum Rotterdam. KLANKVORM Klankvorm is a Rotterdam-based platform for the realisation and presentation of experimental audiovisual art. Klankvorm events take place in different locations and feature audiovisual performances and related presentations.
