NAMITO (Great Stuff, Kling Klong, Systematic) www.namito.com www.myspace.com/namito Born in Teheran, Iran, in 1971, Namito witnessed the revolution first hand growing up in the midst of the revolution in the late 70’s. His family escape the terror and moved to Berlin in 1985. In 1989, Namito totally fascinated by the activities of an Indian guru called Bhagwan, also known as Osho, moved into a commune and lived happily with fifty other people, who successfully managed a Ku'damm discotheque (which only went bust a few years ago). “1989 was the year in which I decided to dedicate myself to being a DJ,” recounts Namito who ditched school in favour of his new occupation. In the mid 90’s Namito was rewarded with gigs and residencies in Berlin's best techno clubs like E-Werk and Tresor. In 1994, Namito had an encounter of the third kind which would pave his way as a producer: Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze affiliate Andreas Grosser, totally unknown to Namito, decided to lend all of his studio equipment to Namito. Two years later, in 1996, he released the first records which resulted in a lot of international bookings; his travels took him all around the globe with stops in Europe and Asia. The final breakthrough came after a very special encounter with Martin Eyerer which resulted in a string of amazing productions released on renowned labels like Multicolour, Great Stuff, Systematic and Boxer. His enigmatic style combines the virtues of techno and house to create a very unique musical vision. By meeting Martin Eyerer in 2004, Namito redefines his sound. As a result, he has releases on labels like Multicolor, Kling Klong and Great Stuff. Furthermore, he then remixes for acts such as Kosheen, Client and Gusgus, followed by remarkable gigs in countries like India, the Ukraine and China, just to name a few. At last, Namito entered many playlists of international DJs with “City of Gods” on Great Stuff. He even conquered the Beatport sales charts with this incredible release. Having produced several singles for Germany's hottest labels such as Systematic Recordings, Boxer and Great Stuff, he just finalized his début album on Kling Klong and concentrates on his numerous national and overseas gigs. Mic Newman http://www.micnewman.com/ http://www.myspace.com/micnewman Mic’s DJ talent has led him to work alongside many big name acts such as Serge Santiago, Mathias Tanzmann, Mason, Alex Kidd, Paulo Mojo & Benny Benassi. Mic’s productions & remixes have featured on labels such as; Toolroom, Positiva, Great Stuff, Vicous, Lowered Recordings & 8 Bit records. Mitch Crosher In the relatively short time of three years that he has been spinning decks, Mitch has established himself as one of Sydney's young talents. Mitch first made his debut onto the scene at a number of infamous kick on parties which then lead him being booked at such club nights as Sunday school, the [box] and more recently at higher profile nights such as "The Likes of You" at the civic hotel, SPICE after hours. Mitch is also co-promoter & resident for the “Top Notch” parties at which he has supported acts such as, Reboot , Emerson Todd & Claude Von Stroke. Mitch's style ranges from the European side of tech house, house, deep house and anything in between with a lot of groove to get the dance floor heaving. Mitch's tastes in music come from artists such as Luciano, Johnny D, Jimpster, Nic Fanciulli, Oxia, Lemos and Noir. http://recklessrepublic.podomatic.co...17_58_54-07_00 Supported by residents Robbie Lowe & Dave Stuart.
