Humanoid is back for our sixth edition!
This time we’ve invited none other than Amoss to the shores of the river Spree for his first set in Berlin in over five years! This producer and dj needs no introduction, as the consistency of his back catalog of releases speaks volumes for his understanding of what makes drum and bass great, and what makes people move to the sound. As well as our headliner we are bringing along residents, PRTCL, who is currently working on his debut LP, and SpecOne, who’s debuting at Fabric club in March. He’ll be playing alongside NullPtr once again. We’ve also invited a couple of Berlin based dj’s along for the ride. Trixter, from the Very Unimportant People crew, with whom Humanoid residents played alongside with at the “Wem Gehört Die Stadt?” demo in September last year. Also, Emma Deluxe, who has played for the likes of Klangbiotop (RIP) and Recycle at Gretchen.
In the second room we’re bringing along resident Mython, who is releasing his debut vinyl record in February 2020, as well as our usual array of hard-hitting Techno djs. Fear of Color is well acquainted with the techno sound (being a sound engineer at Tresor), and has been playing techno and been involved in the sound since ‘99. We have also invited Berlin newcomers Chlär, who is Co-director and Head Sound Engineer at Bipolar Disorder, and Hana Fideli, an up-coming techno DJ, promoter and label owner of Wäxxel. Both are a perfect fitting for the second floor at IPSE
