We're excited to bring our first, full-fledged 'Shapes' event to Leeds. We'll be enlisting the extraterrestrial electrologist aka Volruptus (bbbbbb / TRIP ), to propel us on a high-octane journey of cosmic, fast paced music.
A firm favourite of all of us here at Shapes, with releases such as 'Alien Agenda' and 'Hessdalen' leaving us well and truly intoxicated, Volruptus comprehensively epitomises what we love about electronic music, and so it only seems right that we bring his unique, mutant-electro style back to leeds again for our first party. Not for the faint hearted, prepare to be taken for a whirl through the spacetime continuum as he treats us to a 90 minute live set. Expect raw electro cuts drizzled in futuristic funk, accompanied by warped, wonky rhythms that'll be sure to tantalise your tastebuds. This is not one to be missed!
