Zaffiro and Quest 808 team up to bring GiGi FM and Imogen down to Wire!
GiGi FM associates textures and colours to sounds within the music, giving her a unique approach to collecting, selecting, playing and making music and affording a natural ability to create atmospheres and ambience unlike many others. After playing two stand-out sets at Boiler Room events in recent times, she is now about to embark on a Boiler Room club-tour covering some key UK and European cities, placing her among a select number of her musical piers. Add to this a fast-growing list of gigs and many more exciting projects in the making, the future looks very bright for GiGi FM indeed!
IMOGEN had enjoyed a whirlwind rise, and her reputation as one of the most talented newcomers is being well recognised. In the past 2 years, a glance at her discography includes releases on Earwiggle, fabric and Shared Meanings, showcasing tones which bounce between fuzzy electro and punishing techno. The DJ/producer wields a sound that’s impossible to box off into one category. Imogen has played Berghains Saule, muta.bor, Herrensauna, Printworks, Dimensions and many other key spots since emerging into the European techno scene. In 2019 she became a resident for fabric and moved her monthly radio show to NTS. In 2020 she continues to build a sonic identity focused on bass-heavy UK techno.
