Sprinkles' performances are inimitable. Equipped with a seemingly endless stream of long form productions, stems & ingredients, he weaves a bed of house music that redesigns the energy of any club space; arranging sensitive melodies and cathartic piano parts with turbulent explosions of soulful vocal, orchestral and electronic sounds. The kind of set that allows all vulnerabilities and experiences to co-exist, grieve, heal and wreak joyous havoc together.
Though it's usually described as some incomparable spiritual experience for most people that witness his DJing, Sprinkles' sworcery is the sonic conjuring of Terre's politics and artistry with house music as her chosen medium. You gotta feel it to believe it, but you'll know it when you hear it ;)
There are two golden rules during a DJ Sprinkles set. The first: dance with each other, face each other, look at each other. The second: avoid fiddling with your phone. Nothing you film or photograph will do justice to the moment, and your time on this dance floor is precious!
