Keep Hush x The Not Cool Club is bringing together grassroots organizations, leaders in the industry and policymakers to answer these questions and try to understand if the solutions currently in place are effective.
Solace Women's Aid: All the money raised from this night is going towards the Camden based domestic abuse charity who provide vital support and housing for women escaping abusive relationships.
SPEAKERS:
Amy Lamé -
Appointed as London's first 'Night Czar' by Sadiq Khan Amy runs this city after dark. She has been credited with extending licenses for clubs and reopening venues such as Fabric against a tide of gentrification in the city. Amy hosts a show on BBC Radio 6, founded the Olivier-award-winning performance-club-night and collective, Duckie and has made consistent efforts to create space for LQBTQ members of London's arts scene.
The Femme Collective -
A London-based multi-platform project dedicated to increasing gender equality in the music industry. Taking a critical look at the state of the music industry, the Femme Collective tackles issues such as misogyny, underrepresentation, and objectification through their zines and art. They are a grassroots organization demanding these issues have a voice.
Keep Hush -
A community-driven platform for underground music, Keep Hush has hosted some of the biggest names in the scene from Emerald to Sherelle to DJ Boring. As our partners in this night, we wanted to get the founders on the panel and see how they are making their events as Not Cool as possible.
