MARCO LENZI, the true Italian techno veteran is back with some more Minimal Techno stuff. He now bravely labels himself a minimalist. Alongside him in the club will be DOAN with his melodic and trippy house music. On the rooftop we will bring to you our Resident DJ PEANUTS with deep and soul tech music.
✪ MARCO LENZI (Molecular Recordings / IT)
Marco Lenzi was born in Livorno, Italy and raised in Rome, where as a teenager
he got into clubbing, record collecting and mastered his DJ technique. Marco's
love of electronic music started over 30 years ago and he is still more than
relevant today.
Marco’s passion for music led to the birth of Molecular Recordings in 1994, one of
the most respected cutting-edge labels in the U.K. On Molecular Marco released s
his own material and many other artists. Molecular released DJ Bone’s first ever
record; it was the first UK label to release Chris Liebing and the first label to sign
Inigo Kennedy amongst many others up to date.
He produced more than 50 records on various labels including Molecular, Missile,
Audio, Eukatech, Noise Music and Primate, just to name a few. The list is endless.
Marco is a true techno veteran who has been producing, remixing and playing all
over the world for the best part of 2 decades, taking his minimal and funky sound
to the masses. Marco has performed in over 50 countries.
In 2008, Marco was voted number 49 in the DJ Magazine Top 100 DJ in the world.

Techno peppers his sets, and he now bravely labels himself a minimalist.
He has been playing and producing minimal techno for a very long time now. And
still busy developing new sounds and styles, producing new releases for
Molecular and various other labels, with an album project in the pipeline. Music
will always be a part of his life.
✪ DOAN (HRBR, Holy Grail Music / VN)
Vũ Minh Đoàn started making electronic music since he was 18 years old. From Bien Hoa, Vietnam, Doan always pursue a melodic and trippy style for his music; his goal is to create, to share good music and love, to unite people on the dance floor.
With already 2 remixes released on Metapop and Desert Trax in 2016 and 2015 he has recently been featured on Saigon-based label HRBR for an unofficial release (Ghost Words EP) and is currently working on an EP coming next year on the same label.
He is now regularly coming to Saigon to join HRBR residents and international guests in the DJ booth.
✪ DJ PEANUTS (The Lighthouse / FR)
The record salesman and drummer of various bands discovers his new love: Hip Hop in the late 80s through DJing. As he learns the basics of mixing he starts to love creating a musical universe.
For more than 25 years he explores every genre playing house sets in his home country France. And now, for almost 10 years he holds residencies in different bars and clubs around Vietnam such as The Lighthouse, The Observatory, Broma not a bar, Last Call... ..
Most recently his focus shifted to more deep tech or soul tech. Which can be found in his new black Butterfly mix or podcast for HBBR Saigon.
