LEE BURRIDGE
Lee Burridge, of Hampshire, UK, is an internationally recognized DJ, producer and record label owner who discovered early on both aid house and the potential to bring the club scene to faraway lands. Burridge was a member of England’s Tyrant Soundsystem (along with DJs Craig Richards and Sasha) and has mixed albums for labels such as Global Underground, Hooj Choons and Balance. Burridge helped launch the underground club scene in Hong Kong during the early 1990s, gaining multiple residencies before turning his attentions in 1993 to the now legendary full moon parties at Ko Pha Ngan, Thailand, where his residency at the back-yard club provided an inspirational alternative to the more standard nights around. Renowned for his DJ sets that mix together varieties of electronic dance music into the early hours of the morning, as well as for his antics behind the turntables in the DJ booth, he now plays around the world.
