In the week leading up to International Women's Day Love Child celebrates queer women in music with 2 events.
A Panel TALK Wednesday 4th March in the Hoxton and a afterparty on Thursday 5th March in Lion and Lamb.
On the Panel Talk on Wednesday 4th March we invite four trailblazing queer women to share their personal stories, inspirations, aspirations and take on the current situation of women working in the industry. Hannah Holland , Jaye Ward , Saoirse & Shy One discuss the specific challenges they faced, the reasons behind the persisting lack of equal gender representation in a traditionally male dominated field, their opinions on how things should and can change as well as their own struggles and successes.

For the afterparty we have invited 3 of our favourite London artists currently making waves in the capital and abroad namely DEBONAIR, Marie Malarie & MICA COCA To the intimate setting of Lion and lamb. The venue has the look and feel of a pub but the sound system of a high end club, the perfect place to enjoy the sounds of our 3 artists.
Tickets are free, but please bring a bit of cash as we will have a representative from the The Outside Project to take donations in the door. The outside project is a LGBTIQ+ community shelter & centre. Independent, grassroots project led by queer ex-homeless, homelessness professionals, community & activists..
