- Collision Movement is returning to the Broken Shaker at The Freehand Miami for a BBQ day party during Miami Music Week 2020. Collision's mission is to bridge the underground cultures of Tokyo with the US by curating a line-up of local talent with Japanese artists. This event will feature a Japanese-style BBQ, live music and DJ sets from Collision residents and local Miami DJs. -- COLLISION is a cross-cultrual music event founded by the three Higa siblings who were born in Tokyo but grew up in an international community that exposed them to various subcultures in Japan. Upon moving to the US, they discovered the absence of Japanese underground music and wanted to share their knowledge. After having attended many events in both the US and Japan, the Higa siblings joined forces to create an event with a greater cultural purpose connecting the best of both worlds. Collision has since then evolved into a platform for music enthusiasts and artists alike to explore a cross-cultural and interdisciplinary experience with a mission entrenched in the US-Japan relationship.
