- Week 3 - Feminism isn’t enough- Intersectionality and appreciating diversity in the scene Black Women have been the bedrock of so many movements, Civil rights, Anti-Apartheid, Stonewall, Black Lives Matter and many many more. Black women are constantly striving for bettering humanity yet their narratives and voices are constantly silenced and reduced. This session will look at decolonising the whiteness of feminism in the scene whilst aiming to empower the silenced voices of the most oppressed supporters. Crossbreed and Thorn London present 4 workshops dedicated to unpacking Racism in and around the kink scene and working towards developing a better understanding of the everyday realities that Black people face within our community. These events will take place at The Cause, every Wednesday of October, socially distanced. Any profit made from tickets will be donated to Black Curriculum. Each week we will share resources and reading material, we will discuss in groups and share thoughts collectively, there will be an hour for socialising and further unpacking the topics at the end.
