GRISCHA LICHTENBERGER
German electronic musician and visual artist Grischa Lichtenberger constructs harsh, jagged sound sculptures that are often sourced from field recordings, turning everyday environmental sounds into sharpened digital fragments and rearranging them with pinpoint precision. Like many of his Raster-Noton labelmates, his aggressive audio creations are twisted into mutated rhythms that are informed by techno and electro, even if they're too abstract and scattered to dance to.

HEINALI
Heinali is the moniker of Ukranian composer and sound-artist Oleg Shpudeiko. Over many years of personal and creative development, Shpudeiko’s profile and unique abilities have grown from a raw, self-taught musical beginning as a Computer Science major scratching the surface of electronic music production. He has been working on a generative polyphony patch for modular synthesis since early 2018, which now provides the structural framework for his live set and next few releases, which are based on generative counterpoint and polyphony techniques of modular synthesis. Alongside this catalogue as a solo musician, the Heinali project also encompasses interdisciplinary, multi-media arts projects, soundtracks and much sought-after electroacoustic soundscapes.

ROBERT LIPPOK
Robert Lippok’s work in music and sound channels the rawness of his East German industrial and dissident punk and post punk roots in both East and reunified Berlin (as co-founder of the bands Ornament und Verbrechen and To Rococo Rot). Pouring that molten energy into his solo work, he has produced a body of music that engineers that force into an array of architectural forms. 2018’s critically acclaimed full-length “Applied Autonomy” (raster) follows 2011’s “Redsuperstructure” (raster-noton).

S-Z-2
S-Z-2 is a project operated by the enthusiasts of the Pep Gaffe orbit. Drawing ideas from field-recordings, leftfield electronics, and non-music improvisations, they will attempt to summon some of the chaotic amateurism of their recent recording sessions.

NONDUAL by Albert Van Abbe is an audiovisual installation which utilizes generative audio and visual technology to create an extended, abstract and boundless concert experience; a non-present performance carries the improvisational beauty of generative technologies. Developed in parallel to the upcoming release on Raster of the same name, NONDUAL is a multi-sensory contemplation on the synergy of shape, form, colour and sound.

ПОМІЖ 2020 at ∄ is an open-ended season of events and programme, which experiments with how we can envision a different, meaningful and sustainable future for the community of visual as well as musical artists. Within this upcoming season, we will try new event formats and adapt them to the current circumstances, share resources of information and collaboration to foster global solidarity and mutual support in these turbulent times.
