DOMINANT is a promoter brand born in Barcelona, on 7th March 2020, during pre-COVID times. It arises from passion, non-conformity and new stimuli seeking. Giving great importance to the complete sensorial experience, the events have an immersive atmosphere, where every detail is important. The musical spectrum ranges from noise, industrial, EBM to all kinds of dark and unconventional sounds.
Due to the current situation of mandatory social distancing and the impossibility of holding physical events, DOMINANT will celebrate its first anniversary with an online STREAMING on Sunday 7th March 2021, starting at 7 in the evening. For a few hours, we suggest that you forget about everything that surrounds us and join the intense red universe of DOMINANT.
The experience will begin with an ambient-noise live by LOGICAL DISORDER, an artist educated in the netlabel scene and far from the mainstream, who practices a sort of post-industrial IDM decorated with epic melodies. It will continue with RUBEN SEOANE, resident DJ of the mythic club Moog in Barcelona since 2011, from whom we can expect an eclectic, varied and select DJ set going through styles such as Techno, Industrial, Electro or Acid. With the dancefloor properly warmed, the final fireworks will be exploded. SAMOT and SURIT, more known as NX1, will not give us a break. Both artists bring along a suitcase loaded with experience and a wide range of styles. On this occasion, they will show us their individual discourses. No doubt that they will make us sweat as the occasion deserves it, with surrounding sounds, harsh noises and a strong bass.
The visual journey is guaranteed as well by the mind of VJ GAIXA, a Catalan visual artist who creates audiovisual installations and video mapping performances. He has prepared a dark and penetrating red world for DOMINANT, with more or less explicit forms and symbolisms to make the experience complete.
Everything has been designed to make the experience immersive, creating a journey that takes us to a place of freedom. That place looks very far away, but it is right here, inside you.
An inner revolution takes place every time that one of us lets our hidden face dominate us.
