Modern Sky Lab‘s opening show of the Ox year.
A richly diverse lineup featuring some true auteurs. Leading the charge is Aero Boat, the new trio featuring Zhan Pan (of The Gar) and Li Nan (of Da Bang) . Also on the bill, cool-hued IDM architects Frankfurt Helmet, out of Wuhan, whose music is a feast for both the eyes and ears, as well as Fake Gentle, who burst onto the scene in Chengdu with their dizzyingly kinetic debut last year. Rounding out the night are 上马巡雾, the new improvisational live electronica project from Aming and Bai Tianke of Mirrors, producer Maguro, and LST, the solo project of Li Nan, who is a virtuoso behind the drums (in this case electric drums).
