This week we bring you one of the UK's top up and coming talents as we welcome Cottam to Unwind.
Cottam may not be a household name as yet, but his unique take on slow-motion techno has been causing an absolute storm with those in the know across the world for the last 12 months. In the last year Cottam released three vinyl only pressings on his own mysterious Cottam label. Every single one made it into the 2009 top 50 of uber cool London record store Phonica - giving you some idea of just how highly rated Cottam is right now. Hailing from the northerly town of Preston, Cottam’s DJ style is equal parts Theo Parish and Surgeon and takes in everything from loopy disco to chugging deep techno. We’re delighted to give this rising star his first London booking of the year; you can bet it will be the first of many!
Joining Cottam in the basement will be Chrissy Maranello and Lee Rands whilst Stevie T will be taking control of the lounge, taking you on a journey through disco and cosmic beats.
