To kick off the return of events and a busy pride weekend, various queer promoters in NYC have teemed up with Dr. Roy Zucker (LGBTQ fellow at Mt. Sinai) and local EMTs for a discussion of safer partying. Dr. Zucker specializes in Harm Reduction in Tel Aviv where he found success with his Party Keepers program. The aim of the program is to educate the community on safer drug usage and other life saving tactics such as a proper recovery position, how to handle overdoses, potential problems with mixing substances and much more.
