『ヒップホップ・シーンにおいて、長きに渡り最前線で活躍するBAKUがSEX TOKYOを開催』
日本のヒップホップ/クラブ・シーンにおいて、長きに渡り最前線で活躍するBAKU(KAIKOO)が、RUBY ROOMでスタートさせた“SEX TOKYO”を渋谷Contact Tokyoで開催。
3回目となる今回は、DBX、THE MIIIMAS、A VIRGIN、GASMARIA等のパンク/ハードコア/オルタナティブ勢がライヴアクトで盛り上げる。BAKUを筆頭とするDJ陣も、ヒップホップ、レゲエ、ドラムンベース、ロック、ポップスまでをカバーする面々が集結。雑誌Fine、WARPの編集長として知られ、現在はFLJ magazine編集長の大野俊也はDBX/DJ OHNO(FLJ)としても出演。そんなジャンルを超越した音空間の中で、緊縛パフォーマーのBeniが舞い、ヒップホップ・グラフィティ漫画「イルブロス」も話題のグラフィティ・アーティストTABOO1がライヴ・ボディ・ペイントを披露するなど、音楽以外のコンテンツも極めて高濃度。
BAKUが掲げる「性別もジャンルも超越するイベント」というコンセプトに相応しい、ボーダーレスな一夜になりそうだ。

“SEX TOKYO” began at RUBY ROOM by BAKU (KAIKOO), who has been an active figure in the Japanese Hip Hop/Club scene for many years, hosts at Shibuya’s Contact Tokyo.
For its 3rd installment, Punk/Hardcore/Alternative live acts such as DBX, THE MIIIMAS, A VIRGIN, and GASMARIA will be headlining. Led by BAKU, DJs with backgrounds in Hip Hop, Reggae, Drum N’ Bass, Rock, and Pop are gathering for the occasion. Toshiya Ohno, chief editor of magazines Fine, WARP, and currently FLJ Magazine, will be performing as both DBX/DJ OHNO (FLJ). Performances by bondage performer Beni, In the sound space that transcends genres, live body paint by graphic artist TABOO1 who's known for his Hip Hop graffiti manga「イルボロス」(ILL BROS), and contents other than music will be taking place in this sound space that transcends genres.
「An event that transcends gender and genres」as the concept, we can anticipate a borderless evening hosted by BAKU.
