There are no wrong choices here, whether it’s lunar lounging or terrestrial twirling. With four multifaceted selectors stepping up across two rooms, you’re in for a good time of wiggly, unexpected, gravity-baffling beats to get your feet tapping, your hips bopping, and your astrobouncing.
Astrobounce is an orbital station for springing off into deep-space dancefloor explorations. Teams of intrepid interstellar navigators will take dancers into the Final Frontier and help us dissolve into starry-eyed bliss. Let’s get our feet moving, our bodies grooving, and watch as new constellations form on the dancefloor. So pull on your helmets, seal your spacesuits, and strap the heck in - because it’s time to enter the wormhole!

DJ Voices (Nowadays/The Lot Radio, NYC) [she/her]
DJ Voices makes things happen. With relentless hustle and energy, the true New York City linchpin has piloted radio shows, played and presided over roving regular parties, wrangled bookings, toured widely, and ultimately landed as a booker at Nowadays - a veritable fulcrum of the US’ raveworld. A voracious reader and explorer, her work in the underground is thoughtful, well-considered, and warmly rhizomatic. Prioritizing energy, drama, and nothing in moderation over any specific genre or tired convention, DJ Voices’ sets are always bound to tickle your brain and shake your ass with inventive, adventurous, and perpetually wiggly selections. Between technoid tidbits and junglist jams, just expect the unexpected - beyond certainly having a good time.
Associate (Washington, DC) [he/him]
Associate is one of the District’s most steadfast nightlife advisors, presiding over flashing decks, spinning platters, ticketing booths, and rattling sub cabinets. With a guaranteed smile, his passion for nightlife and a healthy, flourishing scene are palpable, and his work in organizing events has helped bring DC’s nightlife to its present apex. Astute, studied, and sternly focused, Associate’s sets are sonically chameleonic, spanning from gentle, coddling ambient to breakbeat beatdowns and the chunky’n’funky Motor City madness of his native Detroit.
DJ Drink Water (Washington, DC) [he/him]
Despite the nominally healthy reminder to stay hydrated, DJ Drink Water’s wellness practices skip on the sleep. Always the first to arrive and the last to leave events, he is a dependable fixture of the District’s underground who’s not afraid of the dawn light. With a keen, gem-hunting ear, DJ Drink Water has a tightly-tuned, serious selector’s sensibility without ever coming off as a chin-stroker. With a taste for bass and accelerated rhythms, his sets are fun, fresh, and tight.
Furtive (Astrobounce, DC) [they/them]
Furtive is a starry-eyed, polychromatic rave conjurer. As a seemingly tireless creative tinkerer and underground grand-stander, they have come up in DC’s scene as a prolific, multivariate producer, genre-b(L)ending DJ, and underground event organizer - with fingers in pies both big and small, they’ve helped glue together and plug a number of projects in the District. Beyond the bass bins and strobe lights, Furtive is a visual artist, writer, and gooey, heartfelt conceptual explorer.

VENUE NOTES: Accessibility: the venue’s main floor is up one flight of stairs from street level. There is a second room up an additional level. There is no elevator.
There is an outdoor patio area - smokers, please proceed there rather than out to H street.
