Nine Nights return next weekend, for our first dance of 2021, on Sunday the 25th of July, where we take over The Yard in Hackney as part of their 10th Anniversary celebrations.
Join us for heaters with a 2-hour headline set from prolific artist Juls, the man shaping the UK afrobeat scene, behind hits like Like Tu Danz with Kida Kudz Ms Banks and Pa Salieu, Skintight with Mr Eazi and collabs with Mira May, Donae’o and many more!
We also invite the Dagenham rapper, singer, producer and songwriter who is making waves right now on the UK rap circuit, Hakkz, known for fusing afrobeat, UK rap and bashment.
Rising South London rapper Scuti, who has been steadily building momentum in the underground steps up for a vocal set, having recently dropped her single L’argent, the follow up to her 2020 EP This is Skoo.
Exciting rising talent P Nut - singer, rapper and songwriter - will also grace the party with a special performance, expect to hear her garage cross over heater Grown & Sexy.
In the theatre, we will be screening the 1998 cult dancehall classic film Babymother, directed by Julian Henriques.
