Our biggest show of 2021 is incoming as we return to the urban playground of our last Friends of Friends location. Smalltown will welcome two local luminaries in a homecoming show that will reverberate in memories forever.
Tornado Wallace is a local hero, a virtuoso of eclectic goodness whose sound resonate globally. In 2019 his closing set at Hopkins Creek went down in local music folklore. Little did we know that would be the last time he would play in his hometown for close to two years. Since Roza Terenzi left Melbourne (via Perth) to head to Europe, she released one of last year’s most impressive releases on Planet Euphorique, and completed an RA mix that threatened the spacetime continuum. We are beyond excited to welcome back two Australian (and Novel) favourites for their first local shows since pre-pandemic times.
Artists don't come more respected than Millu and Pjenne. Their taste-making skills are in demand - every DJ set of theirs is an experience. Willem and Marli are two of our most promising up-and-coming talents, two singular artists with much to offer. In other words: the support lineup is an event in itself.
To highlight the occasion, we will be rolling out the red carpet. John Fish will prepare a visual feast, a subversion of the concrete jungle into an entertaining extravaganza. Full Throttle Entertainment's finest Funktion 1 Soundsystem will be on hand to deliver a thundering and crystal clear presence.

To minimise risk of their safety and comply with possible COVID-19 event restrictions, this event has strictly limited capacity. In the event that smalltown cannot go ahead on the scheduled date due to COVID-19 restrictions, all patrons will be able to hold onto their ticket for the new date, or obtain a refund upon request.
