- Our first instalment for 2010 is ready to go now .... new year, new location and a legendary guest for our 8th live Conversions. We're flying TAHO for a very special night, and we're very much looking forward to that, especially with his new album doing the rounds right now as well as a massive EP on his own Lumina imprint and a couple of hot remixes, including one for our very own SNEJL Recordings , where he delievers a massive remix on Luciano Pizzella's - Duplicate scheduled to be released on the 20th of February. Apart from making his debut in Romania after playing all over Europe over the years, this will also be a release party , celebrating and promoting both his album and remix to come out on our sister label Snejl. Taho is well known for his Hypnotic Drive, Jazzy Chords, and Hi Tech Soul Atmospheres and yet Dynamic and Powerful grooves. He loves to take the audience to higher states of consciousness! Taho surfs with ability in genres and influences (Dub, House, Rock, Jazz, Techno, Classical, World Music etc). Taho appears on Ministry of Sound, Global Underground, Nervous, Renaissance, Buddha Bar compilations thanks to Dubfire, François K, Behrouz, Christian Smith and DJ Ravin who compiled his productions. His opus on Josh Wink's imprint Ovum got him in the Top 10 Big Tunes in Mixmag. Over the years Taho performed all over the world in cities like Paris, Amsterdam, Hambourg, Amersfoort, Utrecht, Delft, Rotterdam, Brussel, London, Sao Paulo, Vancouver, Toronto, Moscow, Papeete (Tahiti), Barcelone, Fraga, Oviedo, Lille etc... always transmitting the sound of another world! Discovered by Laurent Garnier in 1995, Taho signed two wonderful Detroit influenced Eps on the legendary French label F communications (St Germain, Mr Oizo...) and was acclaimed by the international press, often compared as the French Mad Mike at the age of 19. He then created his own label Lumina and drew the attention of Carl Cox who compiled Taho's techno killer track “Mutant fights the creature” in Dance Valley 98. The track is still charted 10 years later and played by Derrick May, Dimitri, 100% Isis and many more international DJs! Taho's music has always been strongly supported by international DJs like Pete Tong, Gilles Peterson, Carl Cox, Josh Wink, Dubfire, Markus Schulz, Marco Bailey, Shlomi Aber, Satoshi Tomiie, D'Julz, DJ Yellow, Angel Molina, DJ Bone, Dan Corto, DJINX, Colin Dale, Fred Carreira, Fabrice Lig, Vince Watson, DJ Deep and more... His productions have been and are still played on major radios like Radio 1, Kiss FM (now Kiss 100), Fun Radio, Radio Nova, Radio FG and many more... Many time his work appeared as Eps of the month in Mixmag, Coda, DJ mag, Trax, Only for DJs and more. Taho is creating a new sound, giving a new life to Deep Techno, Hi Tech Jazz, House and Electronica, proving that Spiritual and Melodic Techno can make you sweat on the dance floor and he knows how to do that like nobody else.
