Resident Advisor and INTERVENTION team up for a series of DJ Workshops.
Over the next 12 sessions, RA and INTERVENTION will be visiting different cities across the U.K. for a series of free beginner DJ workshops in collaboration with radio stations, music venues and collectives & artists.
The sessions will consist of a workshop hosted by Ifeoluwa and in various cities, local artists & collectives Wheelman, Sable Radio, Soyboi, Palidrone, Outsider, lowertone., Girls Don’t Sync & Gaia.
RA and INTERVENTION prioritise providing workshops for minority groups or anyone else who feels that due to their background, they face difficulties when accessing the music scene or music education.
INTERVENTION was set up by Yewande Adeniran (Ifeoluwa) in the summer of 2016 in Bristol as free monthly DJ & production workshops, platform and physical chill out space for marginalised people across the U.K. It then expanded into events, record label, a book club and on radio stations as a space for emerging DJs.
