Andreas Krüger is the man behind the electronic project "Der Dritte Raum".
He himself never expected to become a musician one day. His interest was more in electronics and physics. Good thing, because his fascination with electronics helped spark his love for synthesizer bands like Devo and Human League. When a friend lent him a synthesizer, he began "making a lot of noise" by himself.
In the early '90s, he and a friend opened a "freaky punk new wave" studio. At the same time, he started going to his first techno parties. In the process, he noticed how well his two passions could be combined to create something unique.
Over the course of a dozen albums and nearly thirty records and EPs, Andreas has never lost his fascination with pushing the boundaries of melody and technology. Much to the delight of electronic music fans, he has done so with outstanding brilliance ever since.
