- We are extremely excited and proud to announce DJ Bone’s Homeless Homies Benefit Event 2021 at RADION.Amsterdam on 15.10.2021 during ADE. All proceeds from this year’s event will be donated to Homeless Homies and our homeless shelter partners in Amsterdam. For this year, DJ Bone and Homeless Homies’ charity is focused on LGBTQIA+ youth shelters. Having two daughters who identify as LGBTQIA+, we are aware that LGBTQ youth have an especially high risk for homelessness due to unaccepting families, life trajectories, runaways, children who age-out of foster care. Between 20% and 40% of all homeless youth identify as LGBTQ. Community has always been a priority for DJ Bone, whether in the Detroit neighborhood where he grew up, now in Holland where he now resides. Compassion is why we are put on this earth.
