Earconscious and Made Like a Tree have decided to team up on a new musical venture. Its been a while since the MLAT loftparties, which have in the past more or less served as a model for how we wanted to approach nightlife and musical exhibitionism... and so we wanted to wait it out until a worthwhile opportunity came along. After a lot of venue research and a bit of soul searching, we came up with what are calling the "Ear Through the Trees" escapade, the first of which brings D'jeronimo, Struggle, Energy Flash, Grindle, and Trench together under the same roof (this Saturday the 20th). One part serious musical platform, one part afterhours location, this is going to be a meticulously planned and creatively branded adventure for the two crews involved. Expect the best of everything that either has to offer.
