A veteran of NYC’s underground, he originally made his mark in the deep house – Jus-Ed, DJ Qu, Joey Anderson, Fred P – that preceded the resurgence of techno in the boroughs. A longtime colleague of Levon Vincent, with whom he ran Deconstruct Music, Anthony also took cues from the 2010s wave of hard techno to create his own vision, a punishing sound based in Berlin and Brooklyn’s weighty techno heritage. As a DJ, he flexes deep experience while hiding beatdowns around every corner - house suddenly transforms into brutal techno, old school bangs into brand new experiments – but the voice remains truly his own. A founder of Pittsburgh’s legendary Hot Mass party and the Honcho crew, *Clark Price* is a deep digger alongside peers like Mike Servito, the Interdimensional Transmissions crew, and other Midwestern talents who maintain the heritage by working between genres and eras. Scanning through Price’s playlists turns up almost anything at all – ultramodern techno, freaky house & acid, banging electro, a tendency towards UK obscurities and bass music, scattered industrial & post-punk - while listening finds lines blurring invisibly into one. His tricky rhythmic dexterity never settles down but remains firmly focused on the floor, the hallmark of an experienced technician ready to take on any crowd. *Lisa Frank* ranks in Washington DC’s tight-knit underground scene, and anyone who ever parties there hears the city’s hallmarks in her sound. Head of the notorious Roam afterhours events & related Roamance label, DC’s hard take on dance music defines her approach, with fast tempos, electro, freestyle, acid, and techno finding intense equilibrium in her sets. An experienced DJ who makes frequent appearances at home in DC, in NYC, and around the US alongside A-list talent, freaks, the queer underground, and lovers of filthy afterhours jams alike celebrate her returns. A resident and curator of Mizz Softee, *Samuel Fish* is also known for his Outer Orbit events & related Out of Orbit mix series on San Francisco’s SutroFM. As Outer Orbit, he hosted a spectrum of house and techno artists leaning into disco and dub, including Convextion, DJ Qu, Tim Sweeney, Justin Cudmore, Jex Opolis, and Taimur, amongst others. Recent appearances at DC dance headquarters Flash indicate an artist making headway; Mizz Softee is the confirmation of this growth.
