After selling out all onsite Weekender Tickets within days of the initial announcement, Bang Face release the last remaining batch of Weekender Hotel Tickets and unveil the first round of artists performing at Bang Face Weekender 2022 - Rave New World.
With a dazzling new live show, Bang Face welcomes back Warp mainstay - and one of it's personal heros - Squarepusher. YouTube sensation Little Sis Nora and queer popstar Dorian Electra, jungle pioneer Goldie and celebrated hard drum & bass trio Black Sun Empire, plus the hotly-anticipated returns of bass 'n' breaks queen Sherelle and techno titan Rebekah are the first headliners announced.
Warp rave deconstructivist Lorenzo Senni is joined by Baby T, the new jungle and breaks alias from former BBC Radio 1 host B.Traits, Herrensauna affiliate SPFDJ, and the self-proclaimed "Horrible Noise" band Petbrick from breakcore artist Wayne Adams and ex-Sepultura drummer Iggor Cavalera. Midwest breakcore pioneer Doormouse, cutesy screamo star Lil Mariko, and UK Free Party institutions R-Zac AKA Crystal Distortion and 69db from the notorious Spiral Tribe soundsystem crew are some of the many highlights heading to Southport in May.
Bang Face always pays tribute to it's '90s rave roots, and in 2022 get ready for the return of seminal British breakbeat hardcore DJ-MC duo Top Buzz, Let Me Be Your Fantasy's Baby D, Helter Skelter speedcore favourite-turned-drum & bass allstar Loftgroover, Kniteforce Records chief Luna-C, Moving Shadow duo Hyper On Experience, and the one and only Mampi Swift! Rave horns at the ready.
Bang Face wouldn't be Bang Face without its regular acts and residents Luke Vibert, Ceephax Acid Crew, Mark Archer, Hellfish, The DJ Producer, GFOTY, Mandidextrous, Jerome Hill, Dave Skywalker, DC, Saint Acid & The Bang Face Hard Crew.
